Flow Yoga, or Vinyasa Yoga, stems from the Krishnamacharya lineage, drawing from the flow of Ashtanga Vinyasa and as well as some of the attention to alignment that Iyengar offers.  Where Ashtanga Vinyasa consists of a series of set posture sequences that flow together with the breath, Flow Yoga offers freedom to arrange postures in a variety of ways.  Vinyasa’s strength is in its openness to diversity.  Although FYTT students are given a structured launch pad, there is no single philosophy, rulebook or sequence that individual teachers must follow.  Flow Yoga and FYTT is a place where individual teachers’ and practitioners’ personalities can shine.
